Work...

Oh How do I love my job. I really enjoy working here at the King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort. If any of you desire some reservations to our wonderful resort call us at 1800-342-0212. We often have specials and discounts. The view is very nice and the customer service is alway pleasant.

The reason why I love this job... The people in this company are not just co-workers but, family. This is my third time working with this company and everyone is just as friendly as before. The bosses seek to get to know everyone and make sure everyone is included. The company promote it's property, teamwork and laughter. There are many companies that want results and revenue but, never compliment nor include there employees to get results. Oh yeah, I love the food here at the resort and the easy access to the beach. SO Beautiful.

Ok, I was totally inspired by this young lady on Youtube... I think her name is Sabra723. This young lady sing very very well check her out. Anyway, she have this post that talked about her relationship with God and the book The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren... I know everyone has this book or has heard of it by now but, Chapter 35 is talking about your weaknesses. It intrigued me to look deeper into my own weaknesses. I want to use these tools to strengthen my weaknesses with the Lord as my foundation. I challenge everyone to look at this chapter and grow! I will post my weaknesses as a way to grow and strengthen them. So, until Later!!!

Scrabble

One of my favor past times... and I actually found someone that will play with me. I'm so excited. One of my church friends came by and played. It was so much fun. I see my competative side coming out again. I tried to be nice but, she was not pleased. I used all the words that I know and some that I've remembered from instructions... such as QAT and YE. I thought I did a good job. I remember playing with Tiffani and how she stopped playing with me because I won to many times... The first time Tiffani won she gloated and never played with me again! it was 12/03 (I saw the score paper). Good times. Later I will enclose the picture of the board (yes, I did take a picture!!) LOL

Are you being tested??

I thought this was good message and I wanted to share it!!!

Are You Being Tested?
Bishop E. Earl Jenkins

"Test me, O Lord... Examine my heart and my mind." Psalm 26:2 NIV

Let's take a look today at two tests:

(1) The offense test. Jesus said, "Offenses will come" (Lk 17:1). So be ready! Those who lead always take the worst of the flack. The front line is no place for the weak-willed or the weak-kneed. So, what are you going to do when offenses come? Get mad and get nowhere? Get even and get into trouble? Or get over it by practicing forgiveness. "If you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins" (Mk 11:25 NIV).

(2) The warfare test. This test is for those who claim to be strong in faith, but prove to be weak in fight. "When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, 'If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt'" (Ex 13:17 NIV). Now, you haven't been called to be insensitive and abrasive, but if your destiny is worth pursuing - it's worth fighting for! So, toughen up! It's a battlefield, not a bed of roses. You must engage the enemy each day using each spiritual weapon at your disposal.

If you don't he'll steal every God-given blessing you've got, including your identity, your testimony, your integrity, your family, your calling, and your future. This test demonstrates your ability to continue in your vision even while you're experiencing disappointment and opposition. So remember, the level of attack is the best indicator as to the level of blessing that waits for you beyond the attack!

Bloggin'

Reflectin'

Church was GOOOOOOODDDD Yesterday!!! I know I had a wonderful time. The word was on point and I soaked all of it up. "Taking Authority of you!!!!" It's important to understand that God gives us the power to take control of our lives. Often people have no problem telling others how they should handle situations and or act... but, if we model our lives after God/The Word!!!! He will guide us towards the things we need to do and say in our lives.

T Barker!!!

Many people don't know that I'm a Travis Barker fan. I love him and I will be praying for a full recovery from this crash. I know that God is able and can do all things. I also will be praying for DjAM and the families and friends that are grieving. It saddens me and catch me by surprise when I read the headlines.

So see my favorite track (hands down) Travis played Crank Da on the drums... You can see a close up of his drumming skills... I don't know how many times I've watched this video. Enjoy!!!

Hello

Hello It's Me.
Everything has been going fine... I had the pleasure of seeing one of my Scrapin Sista's about two weeks ago... Janine. It was so nice to see her and meet her husband. I loved the scrapin' session... and I sprained my toe. It was really bad. It still hurts believe it or not. I haven't had on any heels but, I guess I should pay more attention and not skip stairs!! But, I'm ok! I started to take a pic of it but, I just couldn't do it! LOL I hate that I didn't see you before you left town. Next time for sure. SMILE

I quit my job! Yes, for real... I quit my job. I have plans and goals but, for now I will be working for King and Prince! I am so Thankful that the stress of being a social services case manager is over... I am enjoying the peace of mind. I am so thankful of the Love that God has for me. He is my keeper! With him I can do all things!

Above is a picture of my new hair do... I am so Blessed to have a very kind hairdressor and friend!!! She Blesses me! I just need to do what she says. LOL

A little sad news... My friend Alisha (John) lost her baby; she was four months into the pregnancy. I cried when she told me the news. I am praying for them and I know that God never fails nor make mistakes.

September 3rd made a year that my nephew has passed. It was a rough year but, God is so Good to even give us 19 years with him. I wasn't very sad but, I was reflective. I love him and I there is a piece of him with me.

Remember to pray and thank you for stopping by!
